Police fanned out across Warner Robins Wednesday morning, executing search warrants at multiple addresses as part of what authorities are calling a gang and racketeering investigation.

Why It Matters: The coordinated operation shut down streets and brought SWAT teams into neighborhoods across the city, marking one of the larger law enforcement actions in recent memory.

🚨 What’s Happening: More than a dozen law enforcement agencies participated, including the United States Marshals Service and a Georgia State Patrol helicopter.

Traffic slowed or stopped near several warrant locations throughout the day as officers moved through the city.

🔍 What We Don’t Know Yet: Police have not said how many people were arrested, what charges they face, or what the warrants were seeking. Authorities also have not identified which gang or criminal organization the investigation targets.

The Sources: Warner Robins Police Department.
