ECS4Kids is bringing its early childhood education services to Georgia, marking the organization’s first expansion outside Florida.

The five-year federal grant will provide Head Start services to 340 students and their families across Bulloch, Burke, Columbia, Emanuel, Jefferson, Jenkins, Lincoln, McDuffie, Screven and Warren counties.

“This expansion into Georgia reflects our unwavering commitment to ensuring every child, regardless of ZIP code, has access to high quality early learning experiences,” said Dr. Natalya Roby, president and CEO of ECS4Kids. “After nearly six decades of building expertise in Florida, we’re excited to bring our proven approach to Georgia’s children and families.”

The organization currently serves nearly 30,000 children and families in 24 counties throughout the Southeast. This Georgia expansion follows their recent growth into Duval County, Florida.

“Early childhood education doesn’t recognize state boundaries, and neither should our commitment to serving our youngest citizens,” said Jeanne Dillard, chief operating officer for ECS4Kids.

ECS4Kids provides comprehensive education, health and nutrition services through Head Start and Early Head Start programs, while also offering financial assistance for quality childcare through partnerships with Early Learning Coalitions.
