Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Animal Enforcement Officer Rebecca Galeazzo responded to a call from a Macon resident who found an unwelcome surprise under his bed. The resident, alarmed by the discovery of a snake, feared it might be venomous.
Officer Galeazzo, who specializes in animal control, arrived at the scene and safely captured the snake. Upon inspection, she confirmed that the snake was non-venomous. The snake was then released back into the wild, unharmed.
