Temperatures are expected to reach a low of 33 degrees between 3 and 8 a.m. Monday, resulting in frost formation.

The frost could kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if left uncovered.

The weather service is reminding residents of the affected area that appropriate action should be taken to ensure tender vegetation and outdoor pets have adequate protection from the cold temperatures.
