What Happened?: Gwinnett County Police Detectives are currently investigating a shooting that occurred on Spanish Moss Court. in Lawrenceville. At around 8:45 p.m., officers responded to a report of a person shot.

Upon arrival, they discovered an adult female who had succumbed to a gunshot wound. The shooter, also an adult female and known to the deceased, remained at the scene and is currently being questioned by Homicide Detectives.

Witnesses at the scene told police that the shooting followed an altercation between the two women.
