MARIETTA — A Marietta City Schools bus was delayed Tuesday after a student on the bus released pepper spray.
There were no major injuries, but one student got sick.
The bus was travelling from Park Street Elementary School.
All students and the bus driver were medically evaluated at the scene and school system officials say first responders were on the scene immediately.
In a letter sent to parents, school system officials said safety is always a top priority and the school system is committed to providing timely and transparent communications to families.
