Two teens were shot in Macon Friday night

MACON — The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating an aggravated assault incident that was reported in the 1100 block of Carlisle Avenue just before 9:30 p.m. Friday.

What We Know: Upon arrival deputies found a 17-year-old boy with a gunshot wound in the roadway. The victim was transported to the Atrium Health and is listed in critical condition.

An 18-year-old male who was taken to Atrium with a gunshot wound to the lower leg, who was with the 17-year-old, is listed in stable condition.

No one else was injured during the shooting.  

There is no information on the suspect currently.

This incident is still under investigation, anyone with about this incident is urged to contact the Bibb Sheriff’s Office at 478-751 -7500 or Macon Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
