📅 The Gist: In observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 27, DeKalb County’s residential garbage, recyclable materials, and yard trimmings collection will run one day late.

đźšš Why It Matters: Residents should be aware of the revised sanitation collection schedule to ensure their waste is collected and to avoid any confusion or missed pickups.

🗓️ Revised Collection Schedule:

  • Monday, May 27 – Memorial Day observed. No sanitation service.
  • Tuesday, May 28 – Monday’s collection will be serviced.
  • Wednesday, May 29 – Tuesday’s collection will be serviced.
  • Thursday, May 30 – Wednesday’s collection will be serviced.
  • Friday, May 31 – Thursday’s collection will be serviced.

🏭 Facility Hours:

  • The North Transfer Station will be open from 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. on Monday, May 27.
  • The Customer Care call center, Central Transfer Station, and Seminole Road Landfill will be closed on Monday, May 27, reopening on Tuesday, May 28, during normal operating hours.
