As severe weather blows through Georgia and the Eastern United States, one school system has asked all schools to end all outdoor activities today.

Out of an abundance of caution in advance of severe weather in the area, The Richmond County School system is asking all schools to cease all outdoor activities beginning at 6 p.m. today. 

Storms are expected to be over between 8 and 9 p.m. tonight. High winds, thunder, and lightning are expected.
