A video of a Georgia teacher telling a class full of students that women shouldn’t be educated is going viral on social media.

In the video, the teacher, who is not identified, can be heard asking his class if they think women should be educated.

He goes on to explain that he doesn’t want women to “know too much” and wants to be in control. He says he doesn’t want his wife to know anything, to which a female student asks if he is cheating on his wife.

The video was posted by a parent at Lovejoy high school. She said in an update that she spoke to the principal of the high school, Kevin Griffin, who said he saw the video and the school is conducting an investigation.

The teacher did say that this was his opinion, but as an educator he had to tell them that women are entitled to the same education.

The video is below for you to see for yourself.
