Crews started clearing work for the Whitlock Avenue trail segment of the Kennesaw Mountain Pedestrian Improvements last week.
Significant delays are expected along Dallas Highway/Whitlock Avenue between John Ward Road and Cheatham Hill Drive.
Crews will be working in the area from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays, and road capacity will be reduced to one lane.
Traffic delays are expected to be worse in the afternoon in the westbound direction.
