The Gist: An 85-year-old woman died in a two-vehicle collision in Forsyth County after her car veered into the path of a truck.
The Details: According to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, Joyce Crider, an 85-year-old resident of Alpharetta, was involved in a fatal crash on Campground Road in Forsyth County. The crash occurred around 11:20 a.m. on January 29.
Driving a silver 2003 Buick Rendezvous, the Sheriff’s Office says Crider lost control of her vehicle, causing it to swerve into the opposing lane and collide with a 2019 Kenworth truck. The truck driver, could not avoid the collision. Crider was pronounced dead at the scene.
