Free COVID-19 Testing in Forsyth County

Free COVID-19 testing provided by District 2 Public Health will be held at Browns Bridge Church at 3860 Browns Bridge Road. Tests will be by appointment only from 8:30 a.m to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5.

As of Monday, Forsyth County had 1,942 confirmed cases of coronavirus and 20 people in Forsyth have died from the virus.

Flash Flood warning issued for Nancy Creek area

A flash flood warning is in effect until 10:30 p.m. for the area around Nancy Creek in Fulton County.

Residents in the path of the flooding are urged to seek higher ground and motorists should not drive through flooded areas.

Here’s why I-85 in Gwinnett County was shut down Monday morning

Traffic was snarled on I-85 near Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road in Gwinnett County Monday morning.

I-85 Northbound was shut down after a multiple vehicle crash and a pedestrian who was struck.

The roadway reopened at about 6 a.m. According to the Gwinnett County Police Department the pedestrian had minor non life-threatening injuries.
