End of Watch Ride to Remember rolls through Savannah
What started as a dream J.C. Shaw had of shedding light on the sacrifices law enforcement officers make and how sometimes those sacrifices end in untimely departures from this world came through Savannah today.
Shaw, his family, and riders made their stop in Savannah to honor Sgt. Kelvin Ansari who died in the line of duty last May.
The riders endured 90 degree Savannah weather to let the Savannah Police Department know how much they care for the department.
The EOW Ride to Remember is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness to the law enforcement officers who lost their lives in the line of duty last year.
The money they raise goes towards supporting families of fallen law enforcement officers. Savannah was just one stop in their 30 state trek across the country.
The ride is headed to Florida next.
