Dade County Sheriff Ray Cross released a statement this morning condemning the assassination attempt on Donald Trump.

Political violence is NEVER acceptable, no matter what side of the isle you stand on.
We have to come together and stop the divisiveness and fighting amongst ourselves! We are better than this!
Please join me in sending well wishes and prayers to former President Donald J. Trump, our nation, and any other innocent victim of this heinous and cowardly act.
