This is your yearly reminder that Daylight Saving Time is about to begin.

Don’t forget to set your clocks ahead one hour starting Sunday. The state fire and insurance office also recommends residents change test and change the batteries in their smoke alarms at the same time you are changing your clocks.

There is currently legislation before the Georgia General Assembly that would allow Georgia voters to determine whether or not the state continues to switch between Daylight Saving and Standard Time each year.
