UPDATE: Roswell Police say the 3-year-old who was kidnapped Saturday night and was the subject of an AMBER alert has been found and is safe with his mother.

ROSWELL — An AMBER alert has been issued for a 3-year-old boy who police say was kidnapped from a Roswell apartment Saturday night.
On July 3 at about 10:07 p.m., Roswell Police Officers were dispatched to The Oaks at Holcomb Bridge Apartments in reference to an Aggravated Assault and Kidnapping.

The suspect has been identified as 48 year-old Kenya McQueen of Roswell. McQueen is described as a black male, 5’06”, 170 lbs, brown eyes, bald. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt with a Mickey Mouse on the front, black shorts, white and black Nike Jordan shoes.
Police say, he is to be considered armed and dangerous. He was last seen driving a newer model white sedan with tinted windows. The last known direction of travel was towards the state of Alabama.
The 3 year-old boy, Ameer Williams is described as a light skinned black male, with braided light brown hair, brown eyes, 3 feet 1 inches tall, weighing 40 pounds.
