Free guest passes and waived joining fees available Sept. 10–19 at Y locations across metro Atlanta
The YMCA of Metro Atlanta is giving residents a chance to experience the Y at no cost during Welcoming Week, Sept. 10–19. Y locations across the region will offer free one-day guest passes throughout the 10-day celebration, giving newcomers an opportunity to try the Y’s fitness, youth, family and community programs. Joining fees also will be waived for those who decide to become members.
The annual celebration is part of Welcoming Week, a national initiative that encourages people to build connections and strengthen their communities. During Welcoming Week, visitors can receive a free guest pass to experience the many programs and resources available at their local Y, from fitness centers and group exercise classes to wellness programs, childcare and family programs. It also provides an opportunity for residents to meet Y staff, learn more about what’s offered year-round and get a feel for how their local branch serves the community.
