BUFORD — five-star quarterback Dylan Raiola is considered by many to be the nation’s No. 1 overall prospect.
The 6-foot-3, 230-pound signal-caller and Georgia Bulldogs commit showed why he’s so special Friday night.
On second and nine of a first quarter drive, Raiola was in the grips of a defensive lineman and appeared destined to be sacked, but spun away from the tackle as he was about to get hit by two more defenders and threw an acrobatic completion to his teammate for a first down.
It was the type of play that leaves a coach yelling, “No! No! No! Okay, wow! But never again!”
Overall, Georgia’s 2024 and 2025 recruiting classes are ranked No. 1 nationally.
Given that they are coming off of back-to-back championships, it seems the incoming talent will fit right in to Kirby Smart’s prolific program.
