What Happened?

On Aug. 28, cameras near five schools went live as part of the Gwinnett County School Zone Safety Program. These schools are Brookwood High School in Snellville, Meadowcreek High School in Norcross, Starling Elementary School in Grayson, North Gwinnett Middle School in Sugar Hill, and Richards Middle School in Lawrenceville.

  • RedSpeed, the company behind the cameras, reports about a 50% decrease in speeding violations where cameras are installed.
