Your drive near local schools might now include a camera flash if you’re going too fast. Five new speed enforcement cameras are online, a move to slow down speedsters near schools and make routes safer for kids.
What Happened?
On Aug. 28, cameras near five schools went live as part of the Gwinnett County School Zone Safety Program. These schools are Brookwood High School in Snellville, Meadowcreek High School in Norcross, Starling Elementary School in Grayson, North Gwinnett Middle School in Sugar Hill, and Richards Middle School in Lawrenceville.
