Date and location: Shania Green was fatally struck inside a home on Chance Lane, Grayson, just after 1 a.m. on Dec. 29, 2023.

Circumstances: A stray bullet from an unrelated incident outside the residence entered the home and killed Shania, leaving behind her 7-month-old child.

Investigation status: Detectives continue to follow leads but believe someone in the community may hold key information.

Victim identified: Shania Green, 18, of Lawrenceville, was named as the victim on January 2.
