On August 6, a Ram 1500 pickup truck was stolen from a driveway on Adams Acre Drive in Lawrenceville. The truck’s owner had security footage that showed two suspects rummaging through multiple vehicles before stumbling upon a set of keys inside the truck and driving off.

According to police, their next stop was Mill Creek High School, where they left a trail of destruction by using the truck to damage the school’s football field.

As officers attempted to block them in, police say the suspects drove toward one of the officers, nearly hitting him. A brief pursuit ensued, ending in a crash on Hamilton Mill Road.

The driver, a 16-year-old girl, tried to flee but was tased and arrested. The other suspect, a 17-year-old, was captured after attempting to hide in nearby woods.
