What happened: Savannah police said they got reports of gunfire in the 1900 block of Pendleton Street about 10:55 p.m. Officers found an adult man who had been shot in the leg.

Medical care: Police gave the man medical help before taking him to Memorial Health University Medical Center for more treatment. The department did not release his name or age.

Arrests: No one had been arrested as of Wednesday. An investigation is still under way.
