The Details: According to the GBI, Barrow County Sheriff’s Office deputies encountered the armed Reynolds at a home on Thorn Brook Circle. In the ensuing confrontation, three deputies fired at Reynolds, and shot him. He was later pronounced dead at a local hospital. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is conducting an independent investigation into the incident, at the request of the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office.
