According to the City of Calhoun there is a three vehicle accident at Court and River Street in Calhoun.
Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area and find an alternate route if possible.
Woodstock has a new butterfly garden
Woodstock has a new butterfly garden at the Woodstock Public Library.
The garden was made possible by the Rosalynn Carter Butterfly Trail.

Floyd County road closure
Floyd County Public Works will be closing the road at 2956 Everett Springs Road due to a cross drain failure. The road will be closedTuesday, July 12, 2022 beginning at 8:00 a.m.
There will be no thru traffic allowed. Anyone traveling north will need to detour through Gordon County or Walker County.
Signs have been placed notifying travelers of the closure. Work is expected to be completed by Wednesday, July 13 at 4 p.m.

CSX Road Closure
CSX is performing routine maintenance on the railroad crossing at Paces Ferry Road between Overlook Parkway and New Paces Ferry Road. The crossing is expected to be closed for two to three days.
Drivers will need to use alternate route.

The Cobb Tasting Festival is July 9, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Jim R Miller Park at2245 Callaway Road in Marietta.
