A video clip from a documentary about Jaylen Brown mentioned that the standout NBA star grew up in Marietta, Georgia and then made the claim that Marietta is “considered one of the most dangerous and unsafe cities in the world.”

According to crime data released by the FBI in 2018, Marietta’s crime rate for violent crime is 3.5 per 1,000 people and the rate for property crime is 31.6 per 1,000.
