CLAXON — A flood warning continues for the Canoochee River near Claxon.

The Flood Warning remains in effect and was issues at 9:28 p.m. Feb. 19. At 8:15 p.m. Friday, the stage was 14.7 feet. The flood stage is at 11 feet.

Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.9 feet Saturday morning, then begin a slow fall. The river is expected to fall to 12.0 feet by Wednesday afternoon.
