The Special Victims Unit is investigating, and anyone with information about the child or his family is urged to contact authorities through various channels.

The Atlanta Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify a young child found walking alone late on Halloween night. Authorities are also seeking information on his family.

Just The Facts:

• On Oct. 31, around 10:51 p.m., a couple found a young child walking alone in the middle of the street near Mt. Gilead Road and Briar Glen Lane in Atlanta.

• The child is described as a nonverbal male, approximately 3 to 4 years old.
