A section of the Big Creek Greenway will be temporarily closed starting Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024, to allow crews to assess the trail for potential modifications.
The closure will affect the area between mile marker 8.5 at Bethelview Trailhead and mile marker 13.4 at Kelly Mill Road.
The section of the trail south of Bethelview Trailhead will remain open to the public. The timeline for the closure and the expected reopening will be announced on the Forsyth County website and social media channels.
Trail users are advised to respect the closure signs and avoid the restricted portion of the Greenway.
