Staying safe at school is about being smart. From your locker to your bike, here’s how to keep your stuff secure and focus on what matters: living your best school life.

🚀 Why It Matters: Feeling safe at school is key to staying focused and having fun. Knowing how to protect your stuff and yourself helps create a chill school environment where everyone can thrive.

🔒 Lock It Down:

  • Always lock your locker. Don’t preset the last number for quick access, and don’t leave it unlocked.
  • Keep track of your valuables and secure them inside your locker.
  • Never leave valuables on top of your locker, on benches, or in classrooms or bathrooms.
  • Lock your bike to the bike rack or another stationary object.

🚗 Car Care:

  • Lock your car, keep the windows closed, and hide your valuables.
  • Keep valuables at home. Avoid bringing large amounts of cash or wearing expensive jewelry.

🚫 Be Smart About Safety:

  • Don’t bring weapons to school. If you see one, report it to the school resource officer or school officials immediately.
  • Be aware of your surroundings and report any suspicious activities to the police, school officials, and your parents.

👥 Look Out for Each Other:

  • Tell a teacher, parent, or another trusted adult if you feel unsafe or if someone is bullying or threatening you.
  • Remember, it’s OK to say “no” to adults or other students if they ask you to do something wrong or that makes you feel unsafe or uncomfortable.

🖼️ The Big Picture: Keeping your school a safe place is about more than just following rules. It’s about looking out for yourself and each other. When you feel secure, you can focus on what really matters: friends, fun, and learning.
