LAWRENCEVILLE — The Gwinnett County Police Dept. has released the identity of the victim in a drive-by shooting that occurred in Lawrenceville Tuesday.
The victim, Angel Cruz, was transported to the hospital yesterday with critical injuries. There have been no updates in his condition.
Cruz was found with at least one gunshot wound at the scene, according to Gwinnett County Police.
“At this time, the shooting is believed to be a drive-by. The motive for the shooting is possibly gang related,” police spokesman Collin Flynn said.
