MACON — A 30-year-old pregnant woman was shot as she was getting ready for bed Tuesday night.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the shooting incident that happened on Bradstone Circle at 11:44 p.m. on Sept. 24.
According to police, the pregnant woman and her family were going to bed, when and unknown suspect shot into their house.
During the shooting, the 30-year-old woman was struck once in the back. She was transported to the Navicent Health Medical Center and is listed in stable condition at this time.

The victim was at home with her 37-year-old husband and 5-year-old daughter. No one else was injured during the incident.
There is no further information on the suspect or the suspect’s vehicle at this time.
