Santonio Holmes Super Bowl 43
The Pittsburgh Steelers won a then record sixth Super Bowl in a thrilling match with the Arizoa Cardinals. Having been 17-7 up at the half, the Steelers were trailing by three points in the final two minutes. With 35 seconds left on the clock , Ben Roethlisberger capped off an impressive drive with a perfectly flighted ball to Santonio Holmes to dive for in the back corner of the endzone.
Nick Foles Touchdown
Super Bowl 52 saw many records broken including most points scored and fewest punts, but backup quarterback Nick Foles took them most famous moment in a special teams play with saw him leave a direct snap go to running back Corey Clement on fourth-and-goal who pitched the ball to tight end Trey Burton to find a wide open Foles in the end zone.

As the Chicago Bears lead the New England Patriots 37-3, Mike Ditka brought out the party tricks for the fans by sending out defensive lineman Willian “The Fridge” Perry to smash in a score in the end zone.
The “Original” Gatorade Shower
We have seen this tradition carry on up to this day, pouring the bucket of Gatorade over the coach when your team wins the big final. While the first time this happened is up for debate, it definitely became traditions after the New York Giants win over the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XXI in 1987 which saw head coach Bill Parcells soaked by his players.
The Blackout Bowl
Super Bowl XLVII in 2013 provided plenty of excitement as the Baltimore Ravens were leading the San Francisco 49ers 28-6 in the third quarter when all of a sudden, the lights in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome all went out. A 34-minute delay occurred which gave the 49ers a chance to gather themselves and stage an incredible comeback but fall short 34-31 with the Raven’s holding on.
Mike Jones Game-Saving Tackle
In Super Bowl XXXIV the St. Louis Rams held on to a 23-16 win to the Super Bowl over the Tennessee Titans. The Titans were on offense and looking to tie the game with zeroes on the clock when quarterback Steve McNair found receiver Kevin Dyson who was tackled on the one-yard line by undrafted rookie Mike Jones which won the Rams their first Super Bowl in 30 years.
Halftime Show Excitement
While the action on the field draws in the fans, the halftime show is something which is eagerly anticipated throughout the season. In 2023 we saw Rhianna return and deliver an excellent performance while there have been many more throughout the Super Bowl history. Michael Jackson in 1993, U2 in 2002 as well as Shakira and Jennifer Lopez in 2020 as the first Latina duo to perform.
