LAWRENCEVILLE — A 17-year-old boy was shot and killed on the basketball court of a Lawrenceville subdivision Sunday afternoon.
According to the Gwinnett County Police Department, at approximately 4 p.m. Sunday, Gwinnett County Police Officers were dispatched to the report of a person shot on Mariray Court in Lawrenceville.
When officers arrived on scene, they found 17-year-old Timothy Buchanan dead from an apparent gunshot wound on the subdivision’s basketball court.
The motive for this incident remains unknown and no arrests have been made at this time.
