Roswell's annual Fourth of July fireworks show will be held at Roswell Area Park

ROSWELL — The City of Roswell will host its annual Fourth of July Fireworks Extravaganza to celebrate Independence Day.

The extravaganza will be held on Monday, July 4 at Roswell Area Park 10495 Woodstock Road starting at 6 p.m. Guests of all ages are invited to watch fireworks, live music, entertainment, and specialty food trucks.

Fireworks are scheduled to start at about 9:30 p.m. However, the start may be earlier or later depending on the weather.

The city is encouraging guests to arrive early and check its Facebook feed during the event for updates at www.facebook.com/RoswellRecAndParks

Guest can bring chairs and blankets to spread out at one of several fireworks viewing areas throughout the park.

Live music is sponsored by Rock’ N’ Taco and will begin at 6 p.m. with 12-piece dance band Rupert’s Orchestra. The band will break at 7:30 p.m., and start their second set at 8:00 p.m.
