Johns Creek elects new mayor

JOHNS CREEK — Voters in the city of Johns Creek have elected the second mayor in the city’s history.

John Bradberry will be the next mayor of Johns Creek after defeating Brian Weaver with 59.8% of the vote. Bradberry will replace founding mayor Mike Bodker who did not seek reelection after serving four terms as mayor.

Bradberry currently serves as Post 3 city councilman.

In addition to the city’s new mayor, voters also elected four new council members, as no incumbents were running for reelection.

In Post one, Dilip Tunki defeated Lee Heard Tucker with 66.7% of the vote.

In Post 3, Bob Erramilli beat out challengers Cassandra Littlejohn and Anthony Shorter, winning the post with 56% of the vote.

In Post 5, Larry DiBiase defeated Pablo Cecere with 62.9% of the vote.

In the special election to fill the vacant Post 2 City Council seat, Stacy L. Skinner defeated Rashmi Singh with 59% of the vote.
