John Driskell Hopkins of Zac Brown Band to perform in North Fulton

Start

Concert on The Green is returning to North Fulton on November 5, 2021 on The Green at Crabapple Market.

The event was created to raise funds to directly support the Alpharetta Public Safety and Milton First Responders Foundations. This year, the concert will feature an opening performance by Billy Allen and Unfinished Business before the incomparable John Driskell Hopkins of the Grammy award-winning Zac Brown Band takes the stage as the headliner.

As an Atlanta local, Hopkins has been rooted in the local music scene for over 20 years with multiple different creative ventures under his belt. Perhaps his most notable venture is becoming a founding member for the Zac Brown Band, which came to know commercial success after releasing the songs “Chicken Fried” and “Toes” as singles from their first album, The Foundation, in 2008. Since then, the band has gone on to win three Grammy awards, as well as an iHeart radio award, multiple Academy of Country Music awards and many more.

Hopkins is a powerful presence in the group, contributing his vocals, a talent for multiple instruments and songwriting. Most recently, the John Driskell Hopkins Band released their long-awaited album Lonesome High in 2021.

Hopkins, fondly called Hop, says he is excited to perform at Concert on The Green to raise funds to support local police and firefighters, saying “Our first responders put their lives on the line every day for us. It is an honor and a privilege to give back to them.”

Concert on The Green will offer two classes of tickets as well as the opportunity to buy event sponsorships. V.I.P. tickets will be $120 +fees and will include access to the VIP tent with complimentary food, beverages, early admission, and a band meet and greet! General admission tickets will be $40 +fees. Food and beverage options will be available for purchase at the concert from local restaurants.

Attendees may bring chairs or blankets for this event. No outside coolers, food or beverages will be allowed inside the event space. The concert will be held rain or shine.
