The 14-year-old killed in a shooting in Cherokee County has been identified

Detectives with the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office have identified the two teenage victims of a shooting that occurred Sunday morning on Victoria Road.

The 19-year-old victim, who was shot in the hand and elbow, was identified as Jaden Simmons, of Mableton. The 14-year-old, who died from his injuries, has been identified as Landon Andrews, of Marietta.

Detectives say they have received several tips from the public, conducted multiple interviews, and continue to review videos that were taken by individuals at the party. Suspects in the case have not been identified at this time.
