Ticketing to begin for speed cameras outside two Henry County school districts

HENRY COUNTY -- The grace period is over on the speed cameras in the Union Grove and Luella School Districts. The cameras have been in place since Nov. 18 and today is the first day ticketing will begin.

HENRY COUNTY — The grace period is over on the speed cameras in the Union Grove and Luella School Districts. The cameras have been in place since Nov. 18 and today is the first day ticketing will begin.

During active times Luella and Union Grove school zones will begin issuing tickets.

The cameras in the other school districts are scheduled to go live when school returns from the holiday break in January 2020. The Henry County Police Dept. is reminding drivers to get in the habit of driving the posted speed limit in the school districts.
