SAVANNAH -- Savannah police are investigating a second pedestrian involved accident on the city's roads this week.

SAVANNAH — Savannah police are investigating a second pedestrian involved accident on the city’s roads this week.

The crash occurred Wednesday morning morning and resulted in serious injuries for a 36-year-old Savannah man.

Around 5:45 a.m. Danny Wright was attempting to cross 37th Street at Montgomery Street against the pedestrian signal when he was struck by Chevrolet Cruze.

The Cruze was traveling west on 37th Street when the incident occurred.

Wright was transported to a hospital for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.
