A scheduled debate between Georgia candidates for Governor Brian Kemp and Stacey Abrams has been canceled.
The debate was scheduled for 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4 and was agreed upon by both candidates. However, Kemp pulled out of the debate early this week to attend a rally featuring President Donald Trump taking place in Macon Sunday afternoon.
WSBTV Channel 2 has reached out to both camps to re-schedule the debate, but as of Friday, the Kemp and Abrams campaigns could not agree to a time. Kemp and Libertarian candidate Ted Metz agreed to a debate Monday at 7:30 p.m., but according to Channel 2, the Abrams camp has not agreed to that time.
Election night is Tuesday, Nov. 6.
