LILBURN — If you’re planning to roll your trash bins out this week, don’t forget: pickup will be running a day late across Lilburn due to the Labor Day holiday.
The city announced that all trash and recycling routes will shift forward by one day. That means:
- Monday’s pickup moves to Tuesday, Sept. 2
- Tuesday’s pickup moves to Wednesday
- Wednesday’s pickup moves to Thursday
- Thursday’s pickup moves to Friday
- Friday’s pickup moves to Saturday, Sept. 6
The adjustment is a standard holiday schedule change and helps sanitation crews account for the Monday closure.
For residents, the reminder is simple: put your bins out the day after your normal service.
Regular schedules will resume the following week.
