Alabama has lost some top-level incoming recruits following the retirement of head coach Nick Saban, which is understandable.
Top high school recruits don’t know how things will unfold moving forward at Alabama, leading to changed plans.
Wide receiver Jaime Ffrench, the latest five-star prospect to de-commit from the football program, was visited by Georgia head coach Kirby Smart on Wednesday.
The Jacksonville native took a picture with Smart before it was posted on social media.
Georgia is among a handful of team trying to land the top prospect after he reopened his recruitment.
“Schools like Georgia are recently hearing about the Wiggins news … Florida State, Miami, Georgia, Notre Dame, Ohio State … there’s a lot of eyes coming back around and doing a double-check,” Ffrench told On3 sports when it comes to his process. “There’s a lot of schools making their rounds back around.”
We’ll see if Georgia can land the dynamic wideout.
