Two players in Georgia struck it big Saturday night, each pulling in $150,000 from the Powerball drawing. The massive jackpot, however, continues to grow and now stands at $1.1 billion.

What’s Happening: The winning numbers from the August 30 drawing were 3, 18, 22, 27, 33, with a red Powerball of 17. According to the Georgia Lottery, the two $150,000 winners matched four white balls and the Powerball, but their use of the 3x multiplier boosted the standard $50,000 prize threefold.

Other winners included:

  • Five Georgia players who matched four white balls and the Powerball without the multiplier, taking home $50,000 each.
  • 67 players who won $300 thanks to the multiplier.
  • More than 350 players who won $100.

Catch Up Quick: Powerball drawings are held three times a week. No one hit the jackpot on Saturday, so the next drawing is set for Monday night just before midnight Eastern time.

National Picture: Across the country, several players earned million-dollar prizes. Winners were reported in California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Indiana, and New Hampshire.
