DeKalb County is wrestling with a significant IT disruption due to a national outage of CrowdStrike’s services.
County officials report that the Department of Innovation and Technology is actively deploying fixes to restore functionality across affected systems. Current outages impact the permitting system, court systems, and the DeKalb County UGA Extension Service systems, all of which are vendor-managed.
The county’s utility bill payment system is now back online. Vendors are working to bring other systems back to full operation.
Despite these setbacks, the E911 Department remains fully operational, ensuring emergency services are not compromised.
Updates will be provided as the situation evolves.
