The coronavirus pandemic has stopped in-person church services, but it hasn’t stopped one south Atlanta church from doing the work of Christ in their community.

In what church leaders are calling an effort to show unity and love For South Atlanta, Turning Point Church has Brought all hands on deck for collection and free distribution of goods for those hit hardest amidst the COVID-19 crisis. The church has locations in McDonough and Jonesboro.

The church is distributing goods like toilet paper, hand sanitizer, masks, non-perishable food items along with several other specific cleaning supplies and groceries.

For the next several weeks, Turning Point is having church services online only, but its Jonesboro and McDonough facilities are open as drive-up distribution centers for the people of South Atlanta. The church is specifically focused on helping local businesses, local churches, first responder families, senior citizens and single moms.
