Divers in Cobb County were able to recover a vehicle that sank into the Chattahoochee River Monday morning.
The driver was able to swim to safety and is being treated for their injuries.
The County’s Underwater Search and Recovery Team responded to retrieve the vehicle, which drove into the river at Paces Mill and traveled about 750 meters down stream where it eventually sank.
Divers entered the 46 degree water and recovered the vehicle back onto shore.
