DeKalb County to Host ‘Registered and Ready’ Block Party Ahead of November Election

DeKalb County Voter Registration and Elections is inviting residents to its inaugural “Registered and Ready” Block Party on October 5. The event aims to help the community get prepared for the upcoming General Election, offering essential voter services in a festive, family-friendly atmosphere. With voter registration closing on October 7, this event provides a timely opportunity for DeKalb County residents to register, check their voter status, and gather information for Election Day.

The event will take place at the DeKalb Voter Registration and Elections Office, located at 4380 Memorial Drive in Decatur, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The block party will feature live music, food trucks, games, and activities for families, creating a welcoming environment for community engagement. Alongside the entertainment, attendees will have access to voter registration services, on-site verification of their voter status, and the chance to obtain Voter ID cards.
