Glynn County Schools Closed Thursday as Hurricane Milton Approaches

In response to the unpredictable path of Hurricane Milton, Glynn County Schools will close on Thursday, October 10. The district has also canceled all after-school and extracurricular activities scheduled for that day. The closure comes as part of a precautionary effort, allowing families to prepare for potential storm impacts.

The Details: The school district announced that students will not return to class until Tuesday, October 15, provided no additional disruptions occur. The district already planned for Friday, October 11, to be a Teacher Work Day, and Monday, October 14, is a designated Fall Break.
