Clarke County Sheriff John Q. Williams Hosts 3rd Annual Back to School Haircuts Event

ATHENS — Sheriff John Q. Williams, together with the Clarke County Sheriff’s Office, announced the upcoming 3rd Annual Back to School Haircuts event.

This special event aims to provide school-aged children with haircuts, braids, fingernail painting, lunch, and more in preparation for the new academic year.

The event will take place on Saturday, July 29, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the training center, at 2900 County Farm Road in Athens.

Williams expressed his gratitude towards event sponsors Athens Orthopedic Clinic, Grahl Construction, Landmark Properties, and Wiltshire Defense for their support in making this event possible.

To ensure a spot at the event, interested parties are encouraged to call 762-400-8106 or email keith.sims@accgov.com. Walk-ins cannot be accepted due to limited availability.
